# CPC Overview

> Cost Per Click — pay for each visit to your model's page. Budget control, click tracking, and payment on delivery.

CPC (Cost Per Click) is a format where you pay for each click (visit) to your model's page. It's ideal for testing new traffic sources and measuring page performance before committing to CPL or RevShare.

## How It Works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Browse CPC offers">
    Browse available CPC offers in your dashboard. Each offer lists a price per click and traffic source details.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create an order">
    Specify the number of clicks, select the creative, and set the target URL for your model's page. The full amount is **blocked on your balance** at order creation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Campaign launches">
    The assigned contractor accepts the order and starts driving traffic to your page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Clicks are tracked">
    Clicks are tracked via an external tracker. You can monitor progress in real time in the Orders section.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pay for delivered clicks">
    Upon completion, you pay for actually delivered clicks — the remainder is returned to your balance.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## When to Use CPC

| Use Case | Why CPC Works |
| ------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Testing new traffic sources** | Evaluate conversion rates before committing to CPL or RevShare |
| **Controlling traffic volume** | Set exact click budgets and pause anytime |
| **Measuring page performance** | See how well your page converts visitors to subscribers |
| **Low-risk experimentation** | Fixed cost per click means you know the budget upfront |

## Managing CPC Campaigns

In the dashboard you can:

* **Creatives** — manage the creatives used in your campaigns
* **Offers** — view available CPC offers
* **Orders** — track active and completed orders, see clicks ordered vs delivered, total spend, and conversion metrics

## Tracking

Monitor your CPC orders in the dashboard. You'll see clicks ordered vs delivered, total spend, and can track how clicks convert into subscribers and revenue.

<Tip>Start with a small click budget to test a new offer. If the traffic converts well, scale up with larger orders or switch to CPL for a more direct subscriber acquisition model.</Tip>

## CPC with Profile Access

If you've [transferred profile access](/access-to-the-profile), CPC campaigns get automatic campaign creation and full analytics:

* **Automatic campaign creation** — a tracking campaign is created for each order automatically
* **Full statistics** — fans, ROMI, and chat conversion funnel
* **Same analytics format** as CPL — all data in one familiar dashboard

<Info>Without profile access, CPC still works — but you won't have ROMI tracking or conversion analytics. [Learn more about working without access](/cpl-without-access).</Info>
